Mediation and Outreach Specialist Positions
Community Mediation Center Application for
FY 10 CMM AmeriCorps Mediation and Outreach Specialist Positions
CMM was awarded 13 full-time, 1700 hour AmeriCorps positions. Based on the AmeriCorps applications and interviews already in process we will have a waiting list for positions. All remaining open positions will be filled on a first come/first served basis.
In an effort to make the AmeriCorps application, recruitment, and placement process easier on CMCs this year we have simplified the process. If you would like to become, or continue to be, a service site for an AmeriCorps Mediation and Outreach Specialist for FY10 we must have all of the following items to complete your application:
- AmeriCorps Member Contract, signed by the site supervisor (attached)
- AmeriCorps Member Activities Description (sample attached - create one specific to your CMC)
- On-site Orientation Plan and date for AmeriCorps member (sample attached - create on specific to your CMC)
- Signed Site Supervisor Contract Attached (attached)
- Flow Chart of your CMC that includes possible AmeriCorps position(s)
- Signed AmeriCorps Calendar year (attached)
Your Site match is 20% of the stipend, currently $2,280 billed quarterly by CMM at the end of each quarter.
