Community Mediation Maryland's training is only available to people who will be volunteering for a Community Mediation Maryland center. Each center has its own requirements for participation. Please contact the Community Mediation Maryland member center closest to you to find out when the next available training is and what your local center's requirements for participation are.

Community Mediation Maryland's Basic Mediation trainings consists of the following:

     45 hours of initial classroom training
     Observation of two mediations
     Co-mediation of two mediations
     A personal evaluation/strategy session
     5 hours of follow-up training

A potential trainee must commit to the entire training to enroll.
